Comment fonctionne Sounds of Spirit<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Sounds of Spirit r\u00e9unit instruments vivants, spatialisation en temps r\u00e9el, conception sonore psychoacoustique et pr\u00e9sence humaine en une seule exp\u00e9rience d'\u00e9coute live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Voici ce qui se passe r\u00e9ellement pendant une s\u00e9ance.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Le son vivant au centre<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Au c\u0153ur de chaque s\u00e9ance Sounds of Spirit, de v\u00e9ritables instruments acoustiques sont jou\u00e9s en live : didgeridoo, bols de cristal, gongs, voix, fl\u00fbtes et autres instruments r\u00e9sonants.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rien n'est pr\u00e9enregistr\u00e9 : chaque instrument est jou\u00e9 en live. Le souffle, le toucher et la r\u00e9ponse acoustique de chaque instrument fa\u00e7onnent le son en continu, si bien qu'aucune s\u00e9ance ne se d\u00e9roule exactement de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Les couches num\u00e9riques restent pr\u00e9sentes, mais elles soutiennent les instruments vivants au lieu de les remplacer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le didgeridoo<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Au c\u0153ur de Sounds of Spirit se trouve le didgeridoo, instrument ancestral aborig\u00e8ne issu de l'une des plus anciennes cultures encore vivantes au monde. Le musicien en remod\u00e8le sans cesse le son par le souffle et le conduit vocal : une base qui reste ancr\u00e9e pendant que sa texture harmonique \u00e9volue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Fabriqu\u00e9 traditionnellement \u00e0 partir d'un tronc d'eucalyptus creus\u00e9 par les termites, le didgeridoo est connu sous le nom de yidaki<\/em> parmi le peuple Yol\u014bu du nord-est de la Terre d'Arnhem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il se joue en respiration circulaire : le musicien inspire par le nez pendant que les joues continuent de pousser l'air, si bien que le son ne s'arr\u00eate jamais. Ce drone ininterrompu devient la base de chaque s\u00e9ance, un point d'ancrage stable pour l'attention.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Au-dessus du drone, les l\u00e8vres, la langue et la voix font na\u00eetre des rythmes, des harmoniques et des cris d'animaux, jusqu'\u00e0 ce qu'un simple tube \u00e9voque le vent, les oiseaux ou un paysage entier. Ses basses fr\u00e9quences ne s'entendent pas seulement, elles se ressentent dans le corps, surtout en binaural au casque.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Eliah Jasper joue du didgeridoo depuis 25 ans. Les Anciens Yol\u014bu de Ramingining lui ont donn\u00e9 la permission d'en jouer partout dans le monde, et un autre Ancien l'a ensuite autoris\u00e9 \u00e0 l'utiliser dans un cadre de soin et de bien-\u00eatre. Il porte cet instrument avec un profond respect pour la culture dont il vient.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Le son est plac\u00e9 autour de l'auditeur<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Chaque instrument acoustique peut \u00eatre plac\u00e9 et d\u00e9plac\u00e9 en temps r\u00e9el autour de l'auditeur, dans l'espace binaural.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

La performance n'est pas enregistr\u00e9e puis spatialis\u00e9e apr\u00e8s coup. Les choix spatiaux font partie de la performance live.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C'est pourquoi un casque est indispensable, et pourquoi l'\u00e9coute sur des haut-parleurs ordinaires donne une exp\u00e9rience fondamentalement diff\u00e9rente.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une couche psychoacoustique \u00e9volutive<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Autour des instruments vivants se trouve SOS Resonant Pulse Technology, ou SOS RPT.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Il combine une modulation d'amplitude \u00e9volutive, des impulsions multifr\u00e9quences, une variation de fr\u00e9quence ma\u00eetris\u00e9e, des relations harmoniques et binaurales, et un mouvement spatial.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ces \u00e9l\u00e9ments peuvent favoriser des changements d'attention, une d\u00e9tente corporelle, une introspection, une attention ouverte, une concentration calme ou une activation accrue.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SOS RPT n'est pas construit autour d'une fr\u00e9quence fixe et ne pr\u00e9tend pas qu'un rythme particulier force chaque auditeur dans un \u00e9tat c\u00e9r\u00e9bral pr\u00e9d\u00e9termin\u00e9.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un musicien live ne se contente pas de reproduire une \u0153uvre fig\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sounds of Spirit est fa\u00e7onn\u00e9 par des d\u00e9cisions concernant le moment d'introduire le son, de le laisser se d\u00e9velopper, de le simplifier et de savoir quand le silence en dit plus qu'une autre note.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

C\u2019est cr\u00e9er un espace de pr\u00e9sence : une mani\u00e8re pratiqu\u00e9e de rester pleinement pr\u00e9sent \u00e0 ce qui se d\u00e9roule. Cela fait partie int\u00e9grante de l\u2019exp\u00e9rience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'intention guide l'exp\u00e9rience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Chaque s\u00e9ance commence par une intention claire, port\u00e9e par la mani\u00e8re dont elle est jou\u00e9e, tenue et rythm\u00e9e.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'intention ne remplace pas la conception acoustique ou technologique. Elle oriente l'exp\u00e9rience : ce qui est jou\u00e9, la mani\u00e8re dont la performance se d\u00e9veloppe et la fa\u00e7on dont l'espace est tenu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

L'auditeur compl\u00e8te l'exp\u00e9rience<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Deux personnes ne vivent jamais une s\u00e9ance exactement de la m\u00eame mani\u00e8re.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Chaque participant apporte \u00e0 l'exp\u00e9rience un corps, un syst\u00e8me nerveux, un contexte \u00e9motionnel, une histoire et une qualit\u00e9 d'attention diff\u00e9rents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certaines personnes vivent ces s\u00e9ances comme profond\u00e9ment relaxantes, r\u00e9paratrices, r\u00e9gulatrices ou gu\u00e9rissantes. D'autres constatent des changements au niveau de l'attention, du corps, de la perception ou de leur \u00e9tat int\u00e9rieur.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
